Great Education =
Tulsans Coming Together

You don't have to be alone helping kids, families, and teachers.

Through conversation, research, and generous service, TPS Rescue Coalition joins Tulsans from all walks of life for commonsense reforms in our public schools.

88% of all TPS students fail to achieve grade level proficiency.

Hundreds of students, parents, teachers, and counselors are reporting that students in our public schools can't read.
Studies show if students can't read and comprehend by 3rd grade, they will not be able to learn consequent materials.
Kids need to be empowered to read, learn, and enjoy great knowledge to build their best lives - and Tulsa's future!

TPS loses 1/3 of its teachers every two years.*

Certified, compassionate teachers leave employment from TPS for many reasons, but not usually for pay.
Great teachers who are no longer free to make positive impacts on students and families leave to work at other districts, change careers, or retire early.
Tulsa has thousands of certified teachers who aren't teaching because of a hostile work environment and insufficient support.

Tulsa's kids, parents, teachers, taxpayers, businesses - all of us - need to rescue our schools NOW.

Tulsa's Reform Agenda for Our Public Schools

All kids empowered to read.
More local control in our classrooms and community.
Teachers, parents, and administrators working together.

More dollars to classrooms, not consultants.
Safe and respectful environments for all students to learn.

Let's support our students, teachers, and families with compassion, fairness, and smart leadership!

We are a group of parents, grandparents, and taxpayers who understand that we all have an interest in the success of Tulsa Public Schools.
